How this work is classified

Standing Watch is preventative maintenance and repair for homes you already own. It is not a licensed home inspection, not a code-compliance certificate, and not a report for a sale, lease, or other conveyance.

Twice a year we check the home, write a work log, and quote anything that needs a repair. Nothing proceeds without your approval. Then we handle the work, or a credentialed technician does. Licensed plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other trade work is performed by credentialed technicians or subcontractors where the law requires it.

The PDF you receive is a maintenance work log for you as the owner. It is not a substitute for a licensed home inspection in a real-estate transaction. Do not give it to a buyer, seller, or lender for that purpose.

Winter Watch is an add-on: a cellular monitor and a response visit when the home is left for the season. It is property care, not an inspection for a closing.
